Let me ask you something, might would cause lots of anger and depression but let me ask it to you, ask to all those who are cheering after the auction of Gandhi ji's belongings was taken over by UB group. Let me ask to all of you whether you are part of a Government or media group or common man, what we are trying to save: Gandhi or his BELONGINGS? What there was so much outcry? When we cannot save his teachings and idea what we will get if we will be able to save his belongings? Here who matters Gandhi or his belongings? Let me ask…


Are we going to care ever for Gandhi ji? Or the fight is for saving legacy?

Gandhi said “I believe that a man is the strongest soldier for daring to die unarmed. Peace is the force of this nation” and India spent 2.5% of annual GDP on military expenditure (2006) to arm the man and women to run killing machine on the verge when children need food.

Gandhi ji said India is the nation of Villages and still, there are several villages without any facility of fresh drinking water. Save Gandhi or save Legacy ? Over 37.7 million people in India are affected by water-borne diseases due to contaminated drinking water supply and an estimated 1.5 million children die of diarrhea each year, according to newly available statistics. A 2008 UNICEF report says that 43% of the world’s low birth-weight infants are born in India.

Gandhi ji said “Woman is more fitted than man to make exploration and take bolder action in nonviolence... There is no occasion for women to consider themselves subordinate or inferior to men....Woman is the companion of man, gifted with equal mental capacity....If by strength is meant moral power, then woman is immeasurably man's superior....If nonviolence is the law of our being, the future is with women...” but at the same time over 32 000 murders, 19 000 rapes, 7 500 dowry deaths and 36 500 molestation cases are the violent crimes reported in India in 2006 against women. There are many instances of crime especially against women that go unreported in India. These are figures released by the National Crime Records Bureau recently. And as many as 18 women are assaulted in some form or the other every hour across India. Gandhi even said “I have worshiped woman as the living embodiment of the spirit of service and sacrifice”.

Gandhi ji appealed his whole life for justice and freedom, law and order and what we see is the number of pending court cases in the subordinate courts across the country at present is over two crore twenty lakh. In the 21 high courts the number of pending cases is thirty-five lakh.

Gandhi ji said "A nation's culture resides in the hearts and in the soul of its people”. And here Ram sena in Karnataka plays the violent game on the name of culture .

Gandhi ji said a nation has to lead by the people who are ready to serve and protect the right of citizens and here, in 2004, about one in five MP’s had criminal records, including some with charges of heinous crimes such as murder, rape, dacoit and kidnapping.

Gandhi ji said that poverty is biggest sign of violence and in India after 60 years of independence, 27.5% of the population was living below the poverty line in 2004–2005 per capita consumption expenditure below Rs. 356.35 for rural areas and Rs. 538.60 for urban areas.

Gandhi ji spent his whole life on bringing the sanitation facility to a standard of human lives but presently according to UNICEF in 2004, 59% of population using adequate sanitation facilities in urban area and 22% in rural areas.

According to a research done by UN few years back, over five thousand citizens of India were interviewed in the house to house survey carried out to assess the citizens perceptions on corruption prevalent in ten sectors: Education, Health, Police (Law & Order), Power, Telephone (Communication), Railways (Transport), Land & Building Administration, Judiciary, Taxation and Ration (Public distribution system). An estimated sum of Rs. 26,768 crores are extracted from citizens who interact with these ten sectors. Lower strata with lower earnings are hit harder due to corruption.

Mahatma Gandhi emphasised for a better system of education where one can evolve not only perception of livelihood but also the real life. On the other hand, a report, which was submitted to Journal of the European Economic Association, says that 25% of teachers were absent from school, and only about half were teaching, during unannounced visits to a nationally representative sample of government primary schools in India. Absence rates varied from 15% in Maharashtra to 42% in Jharkhand, with higher rates concentrated in the poorer states. They do not find that higher pay is associated with lower absence. Older teachers, more educated teachers, and head teachers are all paid more but are also more frequently absent; contract teachers are paid much less than regular teachers but have similar absence rates; and although relative teacher salaries are higher in poorer states, absence rates are also higher. Teachers from the local area have similar absence rates as teachers from outside the community. Locally controlled non-formal schools have higher absence rates than schools run by the state government. This is the real India and that is how we are making progress….walking on the footsteps of Gandhi ji?

Gandhi said "For me every ruler is alien that defies public opinion”. And at least hundreds of time the sovereign government of India had gone against public opinion.

And In India equality never existed: if you pray to Allah you have a different court and rule of justice and if you pray to Rama you have another way of justice; still the law of inheritance are based on religion. India had completely destroyed what Gandhi had thought once, now the whole population is divided among cast and creed and sex which opposes the national vibe on the force of Gandhi ji thoughts. Gandhi ji said “I like your Christ, I do not like your Christians. Your Christians are so unlike your Christ”. And all across India nowadays, conversion from one faith to another is a business of life.

Gandhi spent all his life for secularism but all governments since independence to now in India played a major role in bringing policy of favors to one sort of religion. Gandhi spent his whole life living within public living life as simple as possible staying on the places (even in palaces) like normal human being and here in his own country where several mouths are waiting to have food on their side, our president lives in this vast mansion which has got four floors and 340 rooms; apart from that president has two more mansions to live in other parts of India. Gandhi, the father of nation, who lived whole life as simple as one can be and this country has shown complete opposite to what India, or the Idea of India, Gandhi had. This was Gandhi, who never gave fervor to dynasty culture but right on his land, the party of Congress has been led mostly by only one Dynasty: NEHRU. What could be more fatal… Gandhi never liked the idea of Alcohol and even to save his belongings a king of liquor industry has to come…. OM SHANTI….. SHANTI OM Save Gandhi or Save Legacy?
